The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) is the professional body for those involved in the management and development of people.  They have 130,000 individual members.

 ABC ELECTRONIC (ABCe) works on behalf of the industry to manage standards for electronic media measurement so that every part of the industry can have confidence in the data they use. ABCE is independent, industry owned, not-for-profit and a subsidiary of the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC). In essence, ABCE provides independent verification of the high numbers of quality jobseekers that use various job boards every day.  ABCe often works in partnership with NORAS.

The Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) is the trade body that supports and represents the recruitment industry. Recruitment is a £26.673 billion industry responsible for the 1,377,740 temporary workers out on assignment in any given week and for placing over 787,000 employees in permanent work each year.
